FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the difference between the Red Chicken Shine Cleanser and the Yellow Chicken Shine Shampoo?
The Red Chicken Shine Cleanser and the Yellow Chicken Shine Shampoo use the same active cleaning ingredients, but the Yellow version includes an added surfactant that produces thick foam in a foam cannon.
– Red Chicken Shine Cleanser → For spray bottles or pump sprayers only (no foaming agent).
– Yellow Chicken Shine Shampoo → For foam cannon use only (designed for full-coverage foaming).
2. What is the difference between the Blue Chicken Shine Shiner and the Chicken Shine White Stuff?
Both products shine, restore plastics, and repel dirt and water — they just do it differently.
– Blue Chicken Shine Shiner is silicone-based, restores faded plastics, produces a deep shine, and makes future cleaning easier.
– Chicken Shine White Stuff is a water-based silicone shiner that delivers great shine and protection but stays dry to the touch, making it ideal for areas you don’t want slick.
3. Do these products need to be diluted?
All Chicken Shine chemicals come ready to use.
The only product that can be diluted is the Red Chicken Shine Cleanser. We recommend starting with a 3:1 (chemical:water) ratio and adjusting based on your cleaning needs.
Do not dilute:
– Yellow Chicken Shine Shampoo
– Blue Chicken Shine Shiner
– Chicken Shine White Stuff
4. When will my order arrive?
After placing your order, you’ll receive an order confirmation email.
Within 5 business days, tracking information will be sent so you can check the delivery status of your Chicken Shine products.
5. How many washes can I get from a gallon or a quart?
We have tried very hard to find a solid answer to this question, but we don’t want to mislead our customers. Because every ride is different, there is no way to give one "perfect" answer.
The number of washes you get depends on a few things:
-
The size of your rig: A small ATV uses much less product than a large 4-seater UTV.
-
How dirty it is: A light dusting of trail dirt takes less cleanser than a rig covered in thick, heavy clay.
-
The type of mud: Some mud is "stickier" than others and might require a bit more product to melt away.
-
Plastic types and textures: Different plastics and finishes absorb and react to the chemicals differently.
